frequently asked questions

Items are usually dispatched in 2-3 working days and sent by a tracked & signed for delivery service. If you require a valuation or modification of an item, such as ring sizing, please allow an additional 7 days.

We are not responsible for delays in shipping outside of our control.

We are able to adjust the size of the majority of rings that we stock. We prefer to measure the finger ourselves so we can make sure that we adjust to your desired fit, however where this is not possible, you can advise us of the size that you require.

We deal in antique, new and pre-owned jewellery. All pre-owned items are restored and refurbished by our goldsmith to their best possible condition, commensurate with the items age. Due to the volume of stock that we offer, the provenance of each piece is not uniquely identified, other than antique and period items which are all pre-owned. If you would like more information on any piece, please contact us.

Carat weights are measured for our new items before setting and are therefore accurate measurements. With pre-owned jewellery, where possible, stones are measured in their settings and the stone weights are listed as ‘approximate’ or ‘estimated.’ We do our best to identify the known facts about a piece such as the stone, cut and date. Where we are unable to identify an exact date, you will see the date noted as ‘circa.’ Any omissions or mistakes in the description are accidental.

Some of the stones in our items are certificated which means that the stones have been assessed by a gem laboratory as to their quality and unique characteristics. Items with certificated stones will be highlighted and the certificate provided upon collection or delivery.

Over time, precious metals and stones can suffer signs of wear or become damaged, for example from one ring rubbing against another or catching a claw on an item of clothing. For items purchased from us, we ask you to bring them back once a year for a complementary deep clean & inspection, to keep them looking as good as new & maintain the security of the stones. You are also welcome to bring items purchased elsewhere for their annual maintenance, for a small charge.
